Dorsal Root Ganglion (DRG) Stimulation

Dorsal root ganglion (DRG) stimulation is a new form of neuromodulation that relieves chronic pain in the lower areas of the body, such as the hips, knees, and feet, through an implanted device which transmits electrical pulses through electrode leads placed on the dorsal root ganglion in the spine. The DRG neurons from the device modulate signals from the pain source before those signals reach the brain.

Adding DRG stimulation to our services helps us provide an effective alternative for patients who have had little relief from other interventional therapy methods.

Exceptional: PRIZM Pain Specialists is one of only a very few practices in Michigan that offer DRG therapy, which demonstrates our commitment to exceptional, full-spectrum pain relief through the latest and best technology available.
