Personal: Timothy is a husband and father of two children, ages 12 and 10. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, music, and walks to downtown Plymouth with his family.

“As a PA who originally worked in the fields of internal medicine and then addiction medicine, it became obvious to me how many patients were suffering with chronic pain conditions that were either sub-optimally treated or irreversible. It became my passion to serve this community of patients and I have now been working in this field for over a decade.

“I am well-experienced in performance of trigger point injections, large joint and bursa injections, occipital nerve blocks, and other ‘bedside’ procedures. In addition, my previous work experience has led to a vast knowledge of pain conditions and treatment options, including the indications for interventional pain management and surgical referral.

“Too often, I have been witness to patients whose previous providers were either one-dimensional or did not take the time to thoroughly explore a pain complaint, now leading to a more chronic condition. I’m a firm believer in making sure a patient has undergone an adequate work-up for their pain condition and initiating a ‘multimodal’ treatment plan to get them feeling better as soon as possible. Each patient has a unique pain experience and the treatment plan needs to be tailored as such.

“The part of my job I enjoy most is developing a positive patient-provider relationship in which each person knows their role and responsibilities in order to move the patient ‘forward’ towards healing.

“My hope is to provide a ‘launch pad’ for each patient to improve physically and emotionally, allow them to engage in activities that provide their lives with meaning and enjoyment, and to earn their respect along this journey.

“I could not be more excited about working at PRIZM Pain Specialists. In addition to providing ‘cutting edge’ treatment modalities, the staff here treats all employees and patients as if they are part of one large family and is extremely supportive. I’ve surrounded myself with several experts in the field of pain management and this creates an exciting work environment each day.”
